Last night I went to watch the screening of The Incredible Hulk, courtesy of my buddy Mark Kwan, the movie is definitely better than the Hulk that Ang Lee made back 2003 (which I didn’t even bother finishing). I won’t say the movie was super amazing, but it was decent enough for me to stay for the entire thing and I ain’t gonna lie there were a few scenes here and there I enjoyed and chuckled at. As I didn’t see the trailer of the movie beforehand which exposed Robert Downey Jr. bka Iron Man (my lil crush) I was super surprised and happy haha! Can I assume that the Avengers are in the makes?! The movie is now playing in theaters, if you watch it this weekend let me know what you think. One lucky person will get one Incredible Hulk prize pack courtesy of Marvel, Universal Pictures and NYC Movie Screenings. 5 Responses to “The Incredible Hulk” |

I had not seen the Ang Lee version of the Hulk — I heard it was an atrocity of a film — but after seeing what Marvel did with Iron Man, I figured that it was worth a shot. While I won’t say this was an amazing film, Hulk doesn’t really have enough in it to be more than a Michael Bay blockbuster, I definitely liked all the little gems that were put in the movie for comic book fans, ie. the appearance of Lou Ferrigno, the hinting of Captain America, the purple pants, etc. While I only give it 3 stars overall, I think it’s a definite see for Marvel and comic book fans overall.

I enjoyed the fight scenes and the way shots were captured. It had some good action scenes and the ending was definitely sick.

This movie was so much better than the Hulk(the 2003 version). The original worked better on me than a sleeping pill but the Incredible Hulk had me anxiously wondering what would happen next. Ed Norton did an great job portraying the inner turmoil of the character. Liv Tyler really suited her role as well!
