Suede Fringe Sandals

Gladiator sandals are standing strong and are seen on the feets of many fashionistas everywhere but don’t forget that fringe is also a big trend too. Combine the two and you get a suede knee-high gladiator sandal, I luv these! When I was in Hong Kong back in March I spotted a pair of Zara knee-high fringe sandals that are exactly the same as the Etro pair but unfortunately it was sold out everywhere. I had Carla search LA and my bro search NYC for me but no luck, it sold out almost immediately. I kinda gave up on them after a long search but recently they’ve popped up again, Bebe stocked a very similar pair called Tayla ($129) sad that there’s only a size 5 left but if you’re a size 7 there’s a pair up on eBay. Topshop also has a pair called Hackle (about US$50) in a variety of colorways but the fringe is short, not really what I like. And for those that don’t like the knee-high version, Jeffrey Campbell released a pair called Top ($94.95) that’s just above the ankle which is very cute too. I’ll probably have to hunt down the Bebe version, what do you guys think? Yay or nay?

Peep the alternatives after the jump…

  1. Nay! Perhaps my taste isn’t avant garde enough as I can’t help but think that fringed gladiators look like nothing so much as hirstute legs desperately in need of a shave.

anyways, with that said, i think i kinda like it, but have to see it on a regular girl, and not the anorexic model.

I have the tall Jeffery Campbell Fringe gladiator and I am a petite girl. I feel like I need some hight with these when I where them. But it you put it with a shorter dress or short, pulling them off works. Yea, it’s hard to see them on the miles high models, but you just gotta work them. The best dress to work these with is the Free People Bohemian dress (Brown). It’s a dosie.

  15. me says:

where can i get these please ?!?!
