According to WWD, Japanese fashion company Samantha Thavasa famed for their handbags and celebrity advertising is branching out to fashion and beauty goods this October. The three-level specialty boutique located in Ginza will be called 8 Million, besides stocking fashion and beauty goods Samantha Thavasa will be releasing new handbags designed by Katie Hillier and will also house a beauty salon. The one stop shop will be designed by Kashiwa Sato, “famed for his Uniqlo stores” and Toshikazu Iwaya “will oversee the store’s private label fashion offering”. I’m anticipating to see the fashion line, I love Japanese fashion hopefully this will be good. I still haven’t visited the NYC store yet I think I need to soon, time for a new handbag?
