Are you into Gossip Girl for the show or is it for the fashion? According to the NYT, it’s all about the fashion, “the series has had only middling success in the ratings” but “the show has given an unexpected mass appeal to patrician staples like crested blazers, layered polo shirts and kilts. When cooler days approach this fall, some retailers are predicting a run on argyle sweaters, knee socks and high boots.” I remember when I first watched Gossip Girl I went nuts looking for the Chinese Laundry Over-the-knee Strate Boots that Blake Lively was rockin’ and when I did the research I was amazed at how many other people were in search of it too! I still watch closely at what the Gossip Girls wear it’s good inspiration, don’t you agree? I am one that is actually addicted to both the show and the fashion, how about you? I too am addicted to the show and the fashion as well. It gives great inspiration. It shows that you can be as adventurous with clothing as you want to be. I love, love, love gossip girl. The new shows will also be very interesting. I cant wait to see what they come up with.

The fashions are cute, but I tried to watch the show and couldn’t get through it. I can’t imagine anyone over the age of 14 watching it.

fashion first, then plot!
i had a bopper moment, and tried to read the books.. horrible. i like the show a lot better, although now i can see where they got a lot of inspiration for the characters from!

I love the fashions and wish they were hanging in my closet! These ladies know how to wear clothes!
