Imagine doing sports in those custom made gowns, it’s to die for! I love love love the shoot, it’s so fabulous- she looks amazing!

Being Chinese American, it’s hard to support the Olympics in China due to all the current human rights issues that occurred just to have the games in China. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I suggest you educate yourself before you post items like this. I know that your knowledge is only in the scope of fashion but I think u need to be more aware, since you have people saying positive things about the photos that depict deeper meaning other than fashion. Just a suggestion. You have every right to post on your site but I figured retro-girl would be more educated.

Okay, Kelly, but isn’t Lucy Lui a Chinese American herself?
I get the whole hype about the Olympics (I’m so staying in Friday to watch the opening ceremony!), but when I first saw this I was a little disappointed. The clothes are def gorgeous, but the execution doesn’t do it for me. I think they could’ve been way more imaginative then, let’s do an olympic editorial. Just get some hot clothes and make her look like she’s playing a sport. The Olympics are so much more than playing a sport and being on the world’s stage.
