Vena Cava for Via Spiga Footwear Collection

Lots of footwear news today, Via Spiga has tapped New York based clothing company Vena Cava to create their first designer collaboration of footwear that will march down its runway Sept. 6 at the Chelsea Art Museum in Manhattan. The capsule collection consists of four styles and goes with the designers’ “Egyptomania theme for spring, with muted, sun-bleached colors, strappy sandals and pyramid hardware. The duo incorporated eclectic materials such as monkfish and salmon skin with silver hardware. The collaboration extends for three seasons and will retail from about $300 to $850, and will be sold on viaspiga.com and in the new Via Spiga SoHo flagship in New York, scheduled to open in October.” via WWD

This drawing design of Via Spiga look like Stuart Weitzman copy. Did Via Spiga copied design of shoes from Stuart Weitzman?
