Besides all the GO International designer collaborations at Target, the mass retailer also partnered with three premium beauty lines by celebrity makeup artists Napoleon Perdis, Petra Strand and Jemma Kidd to create their first designer makeup collaboration. The collections are a more affordable and slightly different versions of their existing prestige lines. Instead of marking it at discount prices, many of the new products are priced on par with top-of-the-line counterparts sold at Neiman Marcus and similar stores. Testers will be readily available for customers which is great because it’s very important to be able to try the colors and textures on the skin.
“JK Jemma Kidd takes a heavy fashion positioning, where each of the 95 products were inspired by the catwalk (Kidd is a former model). JK includes lip, face, eye and cheek items, as well as makeup tools. Prices start at $14 for I-conic Eye Pencil Liner with a built-in sharpener and go to $36 for a Smoky Eye Palette. The color items, Kidd said, have been designed with strong pigment to produce bold statement colors.”
Pixi by Petra Strand consists of 101 pieces and is a “take on the original’s ‘skin-loving’ positioning, and infuse beneficial ingredients into sheer shades.creates a flawless, photo-perfect finish that leaves women looking like themselves, only better. The collection ranges from $12 to $39.”
NP Set by Napoleon Perdis’ “masstige” collection consists of 85 pieces. The NP Set is more fast-paced and playful than his eponymous line, which is sold at his four concept stores in California and in Sephora. The NP Set products retail for $12 to $30.
The collections are available at Target stores and Target.com now. If anyone tries it let me know how it is! Thanks to readery lucy92 for the tip.

Last week I bought Jemma Kidd’s i-tech liquid liner in “drama” (pretty purple color) & “abstract” (blueish green color). Both colors are great. And it stays on forever !!! Actually on the box it says “Remove with an oil-based make-up remover’. I didn’t believe it, until I washed my face with my normal cleanser and the eyeliner was still on. I used a little olive oil and it came right off. I love it !!
They had better be good bcause if they gon be higher then mac they need to be on the levelof MAC
i just bought some PIXIE after reading about it in Vanity Fair. I bought the “tinted moisturizer” I think that’s what it is….it also has a concealer in the tip of the tube, which is cool. It gives a beautiful “glowy” soft finish, I am 56, and have nice skin…..this just makes it look nicer. It was a bit pricey, but hey, it was my birthday and I love to try new makeup. I also bought the bronzer compact, it IS gorgeous. I look softer and sexier than just the old “flat matte” look!!
I recommend it. Good selection of products and they have testers for all the products …..YEP, at Target….great full size testers.
Good Luck!
I bought the travel palette that comes with a mini brush set - LOVE it. The brushes are so soft and the colors - blush, eyeshadow, lip gloss - go on sheer but easily get more intense with a just a little layering. I’m a commuter so this is just perfect for the subway, colors are well coordinated. If you have a mini mascara like from a clinque gift and a mini eyeliner like the ones from sephora, you’re all set! and the colors do last. I’m a brunette with lots of hightlights so i bought the Pretty Perky set even tho it’s recommended for blonds, blush color is similar to nars orgasm. Once i go dark for winter, i’m switching to ravishing rosy. Can’t wait to buy some of the other items, the Smoky eye showdow palette has been sold out
!
Oops, forgot to mention above, I was referring to the Pixie line.
