Last Friday, September 5th, I went to check out Icelandic designer Steinunn Sigurd’s Spring 2009 Collection presentation at the Katie Murphy Amphitheater at FIT. The collection is based on a feather that the designer found which was scanned in and then had an artist draw on it. Colored it in a color from a wild exotic place in Iceland. The collection is beautiful and very feminine with lots of feathers, silk chiffon dresses and blouses, love the frills on the hemline and her tailored outerwear. The collection can be work for day and night, very chic. See the collection yourself.
