The Anya Hindmarch for Target collection is not half bad but will need to see it person to make my final judgment but the Sigerson Morrison for Target collection is not that great- your thoughts? Thanks to lucy92 for the tip.

I have to agree with ya. I thought the Sigerson Morrison collection would be the best shoe collection, but it looks blah. The Anya Handbags are a hit, the shoes are a miss

i like the boots and the studded ballet flats…as for the purse’s I like the baguette purse.

    Looks good!

The Anya Handbags look like their best bag collaboration so far, IMO. The shoe line looks about as bad as the Hollywould collection a few seasons ago. I don’t even know why they bothered if the results were going to look that cheap.

  5. McKenna says:

The bags look very sophisticated and lady-like, and will look great paired with an edgier outfit for contrast. Bag #1 is gorgeous.

As for the shoes … um …. are we serious?

Take the label off, forget about who designed them for a minute, and they seriously could be any average pair of $13 shoes from Payless. In fact, I’ve found shoes that I’ve like BETTER at Payless than those metallic things. I was roaming around Nordstrom Rack earlier today and I looked at some of Sigerson Morrison’s shoes on the racks there, and I really loved the designs. Very cute, very creative. I suppose I shouldn’t be too disappointed considering the price these will be sold at, but it seriously looks like there was so little thought put into this collection.

I don’t know, we’ll see. The booties aren’t that bad.

    i smell a lotta PVC and PU…

i don’t know why these designers give bargain shoppers so little credit. i mean are they serious with the jeweled flats? looking a bit dated…and just cheap all around. What is so hard about using a design from your regular line but changing up some details and materials to keep it chic and on par with your signature style? i mean i could do better and thats not saying much. I can’t afford 400$ shoes and never probably will, but payless has lela rose, alice and olivia, abate and pat field, doing some great stuff, at about the same price points. but why oh why don’t they stock the designer collaborations in any of the shops? I’d buy way more. The bags are very nice though not quite my style. I’m hoping Saunders brings some much needed edge back to the Target collaborations, The only thing decent lately has been some plaid pieces in the it’s target but says go but its more money because it’s new next and now! what is that? i miss the days of Luella Proenza, leather and silk…. its all poly blend now… and dean harriss, that stuff looks straight out of claires circa 1994.

ok, i just two pairs of the shoes like the black and pink ones above, only they were black and silver. and they were patent. they actually looked pretty cute. but they were in size 11 just randomly strewn on the shelves of my local target. At first I went bananas looking for more, then checked online, and finally realized they have not even launched yet! So weird that they were there.
THey looked ok. Like many shoes at target, look kind of cute, but NOT so comfortable, I am sure.
