In the midst of New York Fashion Week, BLOGUE tips us that M.I.A. joins the fun and launches her namesake clothing line which is currently available at MIAUK.com and retail locations at Opening Ceremony NY and LA. The collection consists of bomber jackets, leggings, hoodies and T-shirts- which seems to be unisex, all done up in the bold hues and graphic prints for which the singer is known. Prices range from $65 for a tank top to$210 for a bomber jacket, the prints are crazy I’m loving it! Are you feelin’ it? More pics after the jump…

Hate it… I am over the cheesey corny loud 80’s rip offs! It was horrible then, we said we would never be caught dead in that stuff again.

The t-shirts are a bit weak, they all look like her concert merch, but everything else looks pretty fly…
though i do agree with sue, it would be nice to see some clothes that don’t look like a retread of the 80’s. I wanna see clothes that people will look back upon and think “2008″ not “1988″

well a lot of people arent like “Rebacca” and “Sue”
some of us actually HAVE style and CREATIVITY with what we through on our backs! I on the other hand love M.I.A since 2003 and will forever. I love her style and dress like her as well and I have no problem with looking like a “retard” from the 80’s

I purchased a hoodie (I really wanted a jacjet but couldn’t afford it) and I could purchase no more. This sh*t is pricey and it will probably be the last dollar bill this line gets out of my pocket. As for the previous arguments on this page, I can relate to both. I think it sucks that fashion is not moving foward and continues to move farther and farther back into time. I mean bfore long we are going to be bring leather chaps and petty coats back (loin cloth anyone?) However, I just think people should wear what they wanna and call it today. As for crazyatomicmonkey…it may be good to not quote “dress like her”, I think you should seek and find some individuality. I mean there is a difference between purchasing to support and purchasing to convert. *deuces*

wowwww. These clothes are defenitly NOT cheap! I’d also totally wear them, but to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t be able to pull it off. The only problem with these clothes; not many people could wear them and make them look as cool as they are.

i love m.i.a
but she trippin. lol
mad expensive. :[
and even though the clothes look very nice, i don’t see why its that much.
it looks like any other piece of clothing that should cost around $45 or less, (but better designs.)
but she has her reasons. (:
