Back in June news hit the web that Patricia Field is designing a collection for HSN.com and after that I totally forgot about it. Today my reader just hit me up and told me that the Destination Style NY by Patricia Field for HSN collection is currently available on HSN.com. I looked through pieces ranging from sportswear and denim to dresses and accessories but didn’t find much I liked. It seemed pretty “old” to me, nothing exciting and new, the pieces consisted of familiar pieces from SATC and other inspired pieces from periods in her career as a stylist and retailer. May be you have better luck finding something in the collection?
I agree, I made a post about this collection a week ago, and nothing looks new, kinda late 80’s meets 1996 the high point of sex and the city, the pieces look VERY outdated.
Most of this is disappointing. I like her stuff for Payless better.
Really dissapointing, IMO. I know Pat Field is an aquired taste, but this is just beyond tacky (and cheap looking too, no?). We know she can do better, so maybe HSN just didn’t give her what she needed in order to shine? I’ll keep telling myself that…
errrr…whats with the bad 80s hair and makeup? and their “sexy” poses? all the girls look sorta…hookerish.
overall, it looks really cheap and reminds me of those hoochie halloween costumes from Leg Avenue lol
