Went by to the Asics Spring 2009 press preview yesterday to check out what’s new on their agenda and the upcoming Onitsuka Tiger x tokidoki collaboration caught my eyes. “This partnership has brought together two unique facets of Japanese culture. The Onitsuka Tiger strong history of creating outstanding athletics products married to the tokidoki modern interpretation of Japanese art has created the perfect blend of function and fashion.” The spring 2009 collection consists two styles, a pair of flats called “tokidoki Lunetta” and a pair of city sneakers called “tokidoki Lawnship” both available in various colorways. The Lawnship sneakers features glow in the dark print on the side and is scheduled to release February 1, 2009. The Lunetta flats are quite cute and on the feminine side featuring a bow on the back of the shoe, it is scheduled to release April 1, 2009. The flats are kawaii!
