A couple of nights when I passed by my friend Pete’s shop, Premium Laces, in Soho I saw that he was selling Uggs and widely advertising that he had them in the store I was a bit puzzled. Then I found out that it wasn’t sneakers people were looking for it was Uggs, yes still and that is what’s keep business up and running. Today WWD reports that Uggs are still in high demand and they’re selling out. Who would thought Uggs can keep you warm and save the retailers? Are you buying/rockin’ Uggs? 27 Responses to “UGG Boots Keeps the Business Going…”![]() COMMENTS PAGE:![]() |

Hell yes, I still wear them. I don’t care about how they look but they keep me warmer than anything in the 13 degree temps we had this week. For that, they are worth every penny.
i refused to surrender to the ugg..
but now that i finally want them i cant find them anywhereeeee!! =(
yes, I don care how ugly they are. during the winter i cop atleast 2-3 pairs b.c they keep my feet warm and I’m not a fan of sneakers, so I need something to wear during the winter. also the chestnut color matches just about everything.
UGGS are best! no sweaty feet! just warm and toasty!
I have a pair and I never wear them. They are hideous and feel like you are walking on cardboard.
yes i love uggs, they’re comfortable and i love how they look on my feet. and uggs are deff in high demand because when you walk down the streets of soho, noho or anywhere else in the city majority of girls are wearing them especially this yr. i’ve even seen men lmao.
I live and go to school in Wisconsn. It is common for temps to get down to 4-8 below during the day when we are walking to class.
Tons of girls here wear UGGs, but I don’t understand why. If they are concerened with staying warms, buying a pair of hiking snow boots, cost less, keep you warmer, and don’t make you look like… well.. you are slumping around with down syndrome.
But they still buy them, year after year… i will never understand…
i hate them with a passion, they only look nice on girls with small feet.
There are plenty of other boots that can keep ur feet warm.
I thnk they look nice, but not for me. What I do hate is the UGG w/ a skirt on look. I mean what? Are you hot or are you cold?
Wow…this is shocking! I hardly see people here in Atlanta wear them.
all i can say is hell to the no. uggs are not for me! i’ll take tretorn skerry vinter boots any day–lets see who’s boots last longer through winter!
I live in the midwest and uggs are a staple in the winter. They’re great for snow, slush, or even rain (when water-proofed).
I also am an avid snowboarder, and its much more comfortable to ride up to the resort in uggs than my boots.
i can definitely believe that they’re keeping shoe stores alive in NY also.
I love my uggs , I wear them as “slippers” at home and on really cold days when I have nothing to do but to run errands. I actually have them on my feet now lol
Luv Uggs…got dem in chestnut…super comfy!!
I have the same exact pair posted.
the mid length ones, and i love them. they keep my feet warm & comfortable, and they’re sttylish!
i have two pairs (chocolate and chestnut). they are just way too comfortable. im trying to get the cardys but idk if thats gonna happen anytime soon.. they are sold out everywhere!
yes i own a pair…and i love them..my sister who swore up and down that she would never wear them kept on wearing mine..unti li had to buy her her own…they are sooo warm and comfy its almost ridiculous..love them..and will continue to buy them
Yup I’ll be copin another pair this year. I used to think they were so hideous! Until I got a pair as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago, and then I understood what the rave was about! These things are sooooo comfortable! I love them and have since bought another pair. So this year I will be getting another pair of the high black classics. The shoe store by my job is advertising that they clean Uggs for $25. So I may just take mine in to save some $.
i have been against uggs forever but i got a pair for christmas because i gave in and said i can’t live without owning a pair and i have to say i love them. theyre cute on myfeet and are super warm… ive been holding out all these years!!!!
theyre soooo uglyyy sorry!
I think uggs are gross. They’re ok for getting around in the cold so that your feet will be warm, I suppose, but I don’t understand how someone could get completely dressed up and then throw them on. The logic there eludes me.
Little late to the party here but just bought my first pair of Uggs – have always hated them but then saw the most awesome pair – the brown ones with the buckles on the sides. LOVE THEM. They don’t look too typical “Ugg” and they are great for the snowy streets of Brooklyn and the freezing stands at Giants stadium. They look super cute with jeans. I would NEVER wear them with a jean skirt and tanks though – strictly cold weather apparel
Hell to the yes!! I loves my Uggs!! And after years of fighting it, my model friend has caved to the cult of Ugg!! lol
They constantly sell out in the UK too!!
Having said that, I really don’t get the girls who wear them in the summer!! I know they were designed for the beach, but a hot city?!!
The clones annoy me though, with the frayed denim mini, hoodie, bag hanging off the arm and the birds nest hair in a ponytail!!! Arrrggghh, c’mon girls show a little originality!!
Ugly and played out. I refuse to wear them…even though I slipped my foot into a short ultra pair once and was surprised at how comfy they were.
I copped some Gabriella Rocha wedge knee high leather boots this winter that are stylish AND comfy. I shimmy past all the ugg wearers with pride!! Haha!
I loves my Uggs
I want to buy one!
Well actually you know what, I got the real pair and I have a fake pair from bjs and their just as comfortable the real ones and they last longer
So, I’m guessing they’re just buying the real ones cause their expensive and I live in a town wear most of the kids families don’t even work so I don’t know where they get the money to buy real ones. My parents paycheck could pay for them. But its sad to see kids not buy a cheaper pair cause their embarass that people might laugh.
