When I heard that the line was expanding, I was expecting some well detailed pieces made from great fabrics. Not more logos plastered on everything.
MTTM is still making pieces true to the brand, but I was hoping for more than the typical streetwear colors and ideas that they offered here.
Whatever happened to that gorgeous cropped, peach top that never went into production that Leah wore with her Gucci rain boots on the site? Thats more of what I was hoping to see.

interesting enough, I just did some homework and found this link between Fubu and MTTM. They both are likely partnered with a company called Alliance Worldwide, which is own by a guy named Bruce Weisfeld or something like that. Alliance worldwide specializes in distributing and marketing many different fashion brands including fubu, mttm, coogi and heatherette among others.
The relationship is kind of like Jive Records selling records by both Too Short and Britney Spears at the same time. Who cares? I’m sure there aren’t many Britney fans buying Too Short records or visa versa. But i’m also sure that each of their fans could give a flying fuk that they are on the same label.
The way i see it..all this mob fubu crap is being put out there by mob competitors or haters who are looking for a reason, albeit a stupid one, to shit on mob. Unfortunately…..it’s not gonna work in my case. I could care less who mob is owned by or does business with as long as they bringing it with the shit i want on my back. Didn’t we learn ANYTHING from the presidential elections? Stop with the distractions and stay with the substance. Mob is hot and some people can’t stand that.

I think that what is annoying with the whole situation, is not that they are owned or not owned by someone, its that they front that they got so big on their own. Their whole label is based on the fact that that “other bitches just front” but it is really them that are fronting. They are fronting that they can afford that big office, and big life. But its really on someone elses dole. And that is what annoys me about it. just be honest in the beginning, and there would be none of this mess
First off,MOB isn’t owned by any other company, there is a partnership. Second, MOB DID get that big on their own. If your brand is shit, you’re not going to find a partner willing to invest all that money into it. Where’s the fronting in expanding & growing your business? In the end, people are getting heated over a clothing label & if MOB can produce hot shit that’s got everyone talking regardless of whether they like it or not, then no wonder they’re up in that nice office.
Sally…your comment makes no sense. On someone elses dole? They got an investment cus they are a dope brand and some big timers believe in them, its not fronting. Its their money now. Plus do you think investors would be putting money in if they weren’t making money to begin with? Its not about not being honest. In my opinion it seems as though they were being humble.
