For 55DSL‘s spring/summer 2009 collection they’re headed on board “starship55 for a good old fashioned inter-galactic one-way-ticket-to-ride to THE FIFTH DIMENSION, a surreal seaside paradise 20 million miles from earth; and the inspiration behind a collection.” The collection is a mix of sport, street, military and vintage style featuring soft saturated hues, sun-splattered and salt-kissed vintage look and deep-sea dyed jackets and knits. For the ladies there’s “color-me-senseless camouflage prints, matched with new effect sweats and tees, yarn dyed with melange and fluo colors for that coveted soft and faded feel outside. Back by popular demand is their range of off-the-shoulder asymmetric sweats. Compliment tops with series of jogging pants, mini skirts with stripped ribs and shimmering metallic effect tees in light fabrics with devorée prints. Others include a timeless mix of ultra slim fit denim, oversized pants and high-waist boot-cut denims.” For those that are looking more special items there’s the deluxe harem pants, with high-waist and braces.
