Back in November we’ve posted a sneak peek of the K-Swiss Spring 2009 ad campaign featuring Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick bka Chuck Bass shot at Spashlight Studios. We all secretly have a crush on Chuck Bass don’t we? K-Swiss is returning to its roots this spring with the launch of its “K-Space” global marketing campaign. The campaign’s backdrop is set in a distinctive space and showcases interesting cool people and athletes wearing the iconic K-Swiss Classic, a shoe that has been immortalized in the minds of the sport and fashion communities since its debut at Wimbledon in 1966. After years of engineering, K-Swiss will re-introduce their famed “Classic” in 2009. While signature elements like the stitched five stripes, D Ring lacing and reinforced toe remain, the brand has updated the iconic style with premium leathers, a contemporary profile and a re-engineered interior, making for a modern and comfortable shoe, ageless in its simplicity. Conceptualized by K-Swiss in conjunction with Boston-based branding firm, Toth Brand Imaging, the K-Space campaign was shot by photographer Zach Gold.
