Reader Cindy sent over a tip on Friday regarding the much anticipated McQ Alexander McQueen for Target collection…

For those of us who missed the pop up boutique on Valentines Day…I went into Target yesterday on Atlantic Ave in Bklyn to buy a board game, and as I walk in – dab smack in front of me are all the Alexander McQueen for Target clothes!  They’re not supposed to go on sale for what? Another week or two. Even the dressing room ladies didn’t know they were out and were shocked. I already bought the signature dress – the blue one on the barbie doll in the ads – as well as the pinstripe cropped suit and the zip leggings.  I couldn’t be happier.

So if you can’t wait till the official launch date on March 4th, perhaps you can make a trip down to Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn to see what’s left. If you can, it’s only 2 more days till it releases online at Target.com. Sit back, relax and watch the McQ x Target x Blythe commercial, all the behind the scenes pictures that were spotted on Flickr all makes sense now…cute!

On the side note, for those that asked me to do a review on what I bought from the McQ for Target collection, I’m sorry I haven’t had the chance to even photograph them. Just been sick and busy catching up with work and personal life, I’ll shoot them soon!

Love this video, haven’t seen it yet. Thanks for posting! I’ve been checking the Targets in Seattle for Mcq, but no luck yet…just one of the things that sucks about living on the West coast, I suppose. Can’t wait to see your review!

Two of my local Targets has the collection out already as well. So much for the release date!

I was at Atlantic Ave Target in Brooklyn yesterday and I saw no sign of these McQ clothes! Could it be that they are sold out already?? I was planning on going on March 4 to stock up…I wonder if they will be re-released…

I went to a Target yesterday (in Houston,TX). I figured they would start putting the collection out early because their new sales start on Sunday. I tried on the pink zigzag dress and the blue strapless tattoo dress and they were both awful.
The pink dress just felt cheap (def not worth $$). While the blue one looked like a cheap prom dress.
Really disappointed, but I can’t help to notice that the quality of these collaborations are getting cheaper and cheaper. My jacket from Luella Bartley for Target is so well-made and feels designer.
I didn’t see the grey denim jacket out so I’m hoping it’s not too bad.

All items were in the Target I visited yesterday – agree w/tracey the quality seemed cheap in mesh items & jumpsuit. No one was touching the grey denim jeans & jacket & leather vest..$150??? On the positive side, I scored a Thakoon cardigan for $16 from clearance rack.

My Target in southern California has most of the collection out, I just went and bought quite a few pieces. I’ll be photographing them ASAP for my blog. Thanks for the heads up, you’re always the first to break the news!

I live close to Target at Atlantic Mall, and I guess so many people checking out ur website came. That is why almost all good stuff were already gone. I am so disappointed. I wish you did not mention one specific store……

After I read this post, I went out to the Atlantic Mall. The clothes were hiding behind the GO International Section corner. There weren’t much left but I did get some goodies.
