From time to time, I’ll get an email or comment asking me to post about plus size clothing or where to buy plus size, this post is for these lovely ladies. According to the LAT, Forever 21 is launching a plus size line called Faith 21 on May 1st, its about time fast-fashion chain thinks about their plus size customers! I’m sure the plus size customers are jumping in joy now, “Faith 21 will offer tops, jeans, tanks, leggings and skirts in a junior plus size as well as XL, 1X and 2X. The design aesthetic follows Forever 21’s trendy take on everything from runway knockoffs to jersey basics.” Prices range from $3.50 to $34.80, unbeatable! Be sure to check online on May 1st to cop some goodies! Bigger pics after the jump…

SO many girls are going to be ECSTATIC about this
March 4th, 2009 at 12:41 pm
awesome. i’ve always bemoaned how i can’t fit into anything- well almost some things fit. but this is good news.
March 4th, 2009 at 1:14 pm
They should use Whitney, the winner from ANTM to be their model. She is so pretty.
March 4th, 2009 at 2:20 pm
I swear I can wish things into happening this week. Was on the F21 site scooping up accessories last night wishing they sized a XL or 1x.
March 4th, 2009 at 2:46 pm
more cute things to add to my wardrobe
March 4th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
Praise the lord!!! Now i can shop in there!!
March 4th, 2009 at 3:06 pm
I am a big fan of F21, but I have to admit that some of the stuff they sell shouldn’t be worn by size M/7 gals, so I’m hesitant about them making their stretchy glittery bright items for XL customers. I’m all for H&M and Zara having size 12-14 and XLs, but their clothes are classier and flattering. Curves encased by clothing with a high-Lycra content won’t look good, so shop cautiously ladies!
March 4th, 2009 at 7:03 pm
I agree with Amonee, we want hot clothes, but not in cheap stretchy fabrics. I am not opposed to jersey, but polyester lycra BLAH! I’ll give it half a chance, but I’m skeptical. Right now I shop online alot, my favs are cherished-woman.com, monifc.com, and I also found some stuff on edressme.com which also has skinny sizes. Real cute stuff!
March 4th, 2009 at 8:42 pm
Thats good! And the stuff doesnt looke like it was “made for big girls”
March 5th, 2009 at 9:31 am
finally! haha. these clothes are super cute.
March 5th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
YAY i love forever21 but im stuck buying only accesories because i cant really fit into anyhting there its all xs-l and all my friends are smaller than me so when we go shopping im stuck satnding in there lloking at clothes that will never fit me.
March 5th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
honestly, this is the kind of stuff that encourages overweight women to stay the way they are instead of changing unhealthy eating habits and getting some exercise. if we eliminated plus sizes, people would have no choice but to get in shape. i bet that chubby girls in F21 used to feel bad and maybe motivated themselves to put the donut down to one day fit into their size L (a size 10). F21 is being an enabler by doing this. now the store will be even more crowded by all the chicks taking up massive space.
March 7th, 2009 at 4:20 am
Wow, Samantha, you’re pretty ignorant. Since when should women have to conform their bodies to their clothing instead of it being the other way around?
March 8th, 2009 at 3:36 am
Thanks girl! I have more options now!
Samantha you are indeed pretty ignorant.
March 8th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
It won’t be hard since Forever 21 sets “plus size” as size 12+
March 10th, 2009 at 12:55 pm
I did! I lost weight so I could shop more freely in the Junior department and stores like F21 and now I can fit in a medium in their store. I was glad I got mad enough to do something about it and start losing weight, before I was like the other poster, I couldn’t fit into any of their clothing. Now I can and not only that I did something healthy for myself by losing the extra 30 pounds!
March 18th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
FINALLY! Maybe now I’ll actually be able to find size Large in the stores and the women who wear XL can stop trying to squeeze into a Large.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:14 pm
Wow Samantha, I may be taking up “massive” space in f21 but I PRAY TO GOD you don’t procreate. That would be a waste of space.
April 13th, 2009 at 5:26 pm
Don’t say bigger women are encouraged to stay their size just because F21 does this. It doesn’t take overnight to lose weight so during the time they lose weight they should look good.
April 16th, 2009 at 9:59 pm
this message is for valerie : when i read ur message i almost started to cry. i was a size 5/6 until 2 years ago my mom, dad , sister died in a car accident. after their death i became depressed and now im a size 12. im happy they are putiing clothes out for us real women. and for ur nasty comment sayin the store will be more crowed because of us bigger women is bull shit and u can kiss my fatt ass and im glad i dont know u u should be ashamed of urself i know my parents are dead but im glad that raised me right i would never be so mean how rude valerie
April 16th, 2009 at 10:15 pm
i meant to say samantha sorry valerie
April 20th, 2009 at 7:37 am
Ignorance is bliss…..so is shopping! See you there Valerie (I will be the one taking up some extra space) MooveOva!
April 21st, 2009 at 2:23 am
I’m so excited about this. I love Forever 21! I’m a size large and a 36D. It’s so hard to find tops/dresses that fit my bust. I used to think, “if they only had an XL my boobs would fit into this”. lol
April 22nd, 2009 at 2:51 pm
To Valerie from 03/05 you’re entitled to your opinion. Unfortunately all you do is sound ignorant and stupid and VERY RUDE,your parents must be so proud. Just because someone is a bit overweight doesn’t necessarily make them out of shape. I’ve seen thin people that are really out of shape and flabby. It has nothing to do with clothes. Besides, people that are losing weight that could never fit into and L, OR XL and on, need stores like these to cater to them and give them the incentive that as they are on the path to lose the weight the clothes get cuter
There’s people that wind up killing themselves because they’re not strong enought to deal with the ignorant critizism such as yours. So like it was mentioned MOOVE over ! And to all my voluptous sisters out there don’t let these ignorant and rude females get you down! just be healthy in trying to lose that weight, if you are ….being skinny doesnt necessarily beat a personality and the person that you are in the inside..take care!! have fun shopping…
April 22nd, 2009 at 3:06 pm
I MEANT TO SAY SAMANTHA…. SO SORRY VALARIE…. I need to pay better attention..
April 22nd, 2009 at 3:07 pm
I MEANT TO SAY SAMANTHA…. SO SORRY VALARIE…. I need to pay better attention..
April 22nd, 2009 at 4:14 pm
Who cares about Valerie. If she is thin she must be unattractive because she seems so unhappy. I’ve never understood why woman “who are so comfortable with themselves” insult other people? And if you don’t wear plus sizes Valerie… why look at this post. Stop taking our space lil bit lol! Anywho this is fab!!!! Forever21 is the best. And now there is yet ANOTHER store that is aware that woman with curves not only look better…but get all the SEXY men as well! ~MUAH~
April 30th, 2009 at 9:47 am
I am all about stores getting “plus sized” lines but sometimes those “plus size” clothes are like a normal store’s size 14 or 16. While I am only an 18/20, I think stores should offer bigger sizes because, as I have seen on here SEVERAL times, bigger girls want to look cute too! However, there are somethings that bigger girls SHOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER wear! And I am worried, as are Amonee, Nattalie, and others I’m sure, that a lot of these clothes are going to be the tiny girls styles in the big girl sizes. I, for one, and leery as to what the clothes will look like.
I know there are cute styles in the picture, but we have all seen the girls who somehow manage to squeeze themselves into clothes that only my size 2 sister should wear! And I am concerned that the majority of the clothes will be like that.
April 30th, 2009 at 9:56 am
AND BTW Samantha, if everyone were a size f***ing 6 or less, what would you have to go online and bitch about? I am a CNA, going to school for my LPN and I have workedin nursing homes, I’ve seen wahat skinny women end up looking like. I for one and happy to have a little more cushion. I want to be able to get up and walk around instead of staying bed ridden because all I am is skin and bones. I want to know that when I am 87 and accidentally slip and fall, I won’t immediately break my hip because I have some meat there!
I have two children and am constantly running to keep up with them. Not everyone is made the same size for a reason! That would be boring. For your information, and any other negative people who want to come on here and say something about bigger people, when I was in high school, I was put on some horrible medications that made me gain 40+ pounds in 2 MONTHS!! I worked to lose the weight but it never came off. Having 2 children didn’t help either. But you know what, my husband loves me, EVERY DAMN POUND!!! I don’t have to be a size 6 or less to feel good about myself, but if you do, that is F***ING awesome, just keep your opinion to yourself. We don’t care to hear it!
April 30th, 2009 at 1:24 pm
You have no idea how happy this has made me, i can finally shop there and look beautiful
May 1st, 2009 at 12:14 am
wow valerie your a dick, i’m a size 16 and i love my body, i’d rather be big and beautiful than “put down the donut” to fit some fashion trend, and if you don’t like bigger girls shop somewhere else.
Valerie =’s double d-bag
May 1st, 2009 at 12:16 am
sorry i meant samantha, not valerie.
May 3rd, 2009 at 3:38 pm
this is for Valerie. ur comment was so ignorant and unnecessary. not everyone was born a stick ( maybe like yourself). people like you have low self esteem and think little to nothing of yourself, u depend on ” hollywood” to make u believe that looking like bones is beautiful or healthy at that. do u know being skinny doesnt = healthy? so next time u decide to open ur mouth stuff a donut in it and shut the fuck up!
May 13th, 2009 at 7:15 am
I just sent Forever 21 an email about this so called “plus” line. If you visit their website, check out their size chart & compare it to a real plus size store, like the Avenue or Lane Bryant. It’s a joke. Their 2x amounts to a size 16 at best. It’s hardly a “plus” in my book.
It’s incredibly disappointing, because I see a lot of clothes I’d love to order
May 13th, 2009 at 7:16 am
Oh and Valerie – too bad honey. Curves are IN & they are here to stay. You are obviously just jealous that you can’t fill out your jeans & tops the way a woman was meant to
May 13th, 2009 at 5:56 pm
nice
May 13th, 2009 at 6:01 pm
ONLY THOSE WHO ARE IGNORANT BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE IN AMERICAN WOULD BE A SIZE 10 OR LESS. I AM VERY PROUD OF THIS LINE. GREAT CONCEPT BUT BAD DECISION ON CLOTHING. SOME OF THE PLUS SIZE CLOTHING CAN BE WORKABLE BUT FLORAL PRINTS PLUS ELASTIC DOESNT WORK. FOREVER 21 IS A GREAT STORE BUT NEEDS TO JUST SIMPLY ADD PLUS SIZES TO SOME OF THE REGULAR SIZED CLOTHING THAT WOULD LOOK GOOD ON A PLUS SIZE WOMAN AS WELL. I AM ABOUT A SIZE 11 AND CAN BARELY PUT MY ANKLE IN A PAIR OF FOREVER21 JEANS SO IT IS A MUST THAT THEY PUT MORE ADDITIONS TO THE PLUS SIZE LINE SUCH AS JEANS. ALSO WOMEN OF ALL SIZES SHOULD BE ABLE TO WEAR FASHIONABLE YET AFFORDABLE CLOTHING..ITS NOT ALL ABOUT EATING HABBITS. DNA AND YOUR METABOLISM CAN DETERMINE YOU BODY FIGGURE…YOU CAN MANAGE TO BE PLUS SIZE AND BE HEALTHY AS WELL.
May 19th, 2009 at 11:13 am

Listen up “Sammy,” obviously you lack socializing in the real world my dear. You’ve been kept in a bubble from reality. Some of us like their donuts and have confidence in whom we are, no matter the size. Wether we’re a size 0 or a size 24…..for your information I’m a 2XL let me help you on this one…a 20-22 if you need help calculating…
0 + 20 =20 + 2 extra inches for my own comfort= size 22 beautiful woman, hear me roar!!!
Anyways, I’m stoked at having Forever 21 as an option. And Sammy….I love burgers, ice cream , tacos, french fries, shakes and all that other greasy stuff you’ve stereotyped overweight people with! Forever 21 here I come, make way for the massive people. ;o)Peace & Love ~B~

IM SUPER PISSED IM SO DISSAPOINTED OBVIOUSLY THEY DONT KNOW WHAT PLUS SIZE IS A 1X IS DEFINATLY NOT PLUS SIZE WHAT ABOUT THE BIGGER GIRLS WHO WEAR A 2X OR 3X WE WANT TO WEAR CUTE CLOTHES JUST LIKE THE REST OF THOSE OTHER GIRLS AND BY THE WAY BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER. TO ALL THE HATERS OUT THERE WE MAY BE BIGGER THEN YOUR SCRANY ASSES BUT WE ARE SURE AS HELL NOT UGLY !!!!!!!!!
