BUST Magazine has the first look of the upcoming Tracy Feith for Target collection, this will be Target’s 15th guest designer for the GO International initiative, the collection is slated to hit stores on May 17th through June 27th in most Target stores nationwide and online at www.target.com/go. Per my previous post, the range features about 60 styles and 15 original prints, “Feith described the collection as eclectic, with shorts, swimsuits, tops, jackets, pants and dresses ranging from $14.99 to $44.99. A cropped leather motorcycle jacket lined in a signature Tracy Feith print — at $139.99, it’s the highest-priced item in the line — was inspired by one the designer made for his eight-year-old son.” Above you can see Feith’s for “Go features shades called lollypop red, Persian turquoise, seafoam green, neon orange and pink, and Saturn lime. Photos of several generations of beachgoers, bathing beauties of the Fifties and Hawaiian-style painted flowers are part of the collage.” When I first posted about this collaboration, I wasn’t too looking forward to it but after seeing a preview on Racked it looks kinda cute! I like the black/white dress (pictured)…so mod! Can’t wait to see the full collection. Your thoughts? More pics after the jump…

So cute–I was ready to write it off, but I love all the 50’s style stuff! Love the Flora top & skirt, and the bloomer shorts!

This looks like those old design pattern books from the 60s. No.
In terms of a capsule collection, this is all over the place. There’s a 60’s color-block dress, hawaiian muu muu, lacy stuff, ruffly stuff, crazy-print stuff. And I don’t think it helps any that the model looks like she belongs in a psych ward. It’s a bit much. I like Tracy Feith okay. (Don’t love him but you know he’s okay.) This collection I’m probably gonna pass on from these specs.
I agree with inspiredlime. This is everywhere and nowhere. Yuck.
Whoa nelly! The first two photos were nice until I scrolled to see the “mary muu muu” dress (yea, I dont know why I call it marymuumuu, jst always do) and 60’s zigzag nightmare where if I stare at it long enough I feel like i’m having an “acid trip”. lol. Pass…

not liking at all. And who doesn’t like the McQ collection? Seriously?! I mean sure, the t-shirts and leggings were pointless, but the suits and dresses were gorge.
it takes a bold person to wear bright colors. I think the collection is great and whimsical. I love it and can’t wait to buy the bright mustard colored dress. I hated the McQ collection. Seen everything he had done before by someone else. It was boring. The typical punk mod English look.
