As Spring/Summer approaches more and more designer jelly/rubber sandals are being released. I’m kinda feeling these Givenchy Lace-Up Cage Jelly Sandals, they’re hot. Since they’re flats I can walk forever in them and they don’t look cheap! The sandals retail for $174 and is available at Zappos.com. What do you guys think? Yay or nay? More pics after the jump…

that’s a lot for some plastic shoes but it’s givenchy so i guess it doesn’t matter…

Saw them in person at Barneys like 2 weeks ago, you were the second person on my mind who would have to have them for some reason. haha. They are mad cute, better than last seasons for sure.

I think they’re hot, but I would love them in other colors. Ooohh, if they were in red, I would be in love!

i tried these on just last week at saks, but they didn’t have my size
they don’t look like jellies, and don’t have a sticky plastic surface like most jellies, either! they come in orange, white, and olive green too! i’m gonna get them as the weather warms up. LOVE!

Nay. I feel like this is the designer’s way of taking advantage of the economic situation and our material obsession by producing cheaply made (though interestingly designed) jelly flats as an effort to get that last customer who can’t afford the haute. If they were made out of leather and at the same price, then yay but I refuse to spend $200 for poly-anything.

I like them in the light gray but i also like the chloe jelly too they are $75 cheaper and they have lots of great colors. I might get both. I am a sandals freak

That is a lot of money for jelly sandals but saw them on the Kardashian sisters and they look great
