Back in December rumors were spreading that Mike & Chris was closing, they redeemed themselves when they signed a licensing agreement with Green Mochi LLC. But looks like that didn’t help much, it’s sad to announce that Mike & Chris is really going out of business this time. But good news is that they’re hosting a going out of business sale, too bad it’s not in NYC! Can’t decide whats worse, the label going out of business or the sale not being in NY.

it’s really, really sad. they had 3 sample sale in the last 5 weeks that i was lucky to go to. don’t know why those events didn’t generate any online chatter. leather jackets and boots were selling for $99. i asked one of m&c girls if there was any truth to the rumors of them folding, she denied it and said “they’re just going thru some re-org.” But now we know the truth. I’m definitely not going to miss this last sample sale. I’m heartbroken.
just went to the sale this morning…everything went FAST. saw a few leather jackets that were snatched up quick for around $270. other than that, fleece items were about $70-90…was hoping for the 90% off items that they advertised.
the sale sucked!! I thought I was getting there early and in literally 5 minutes the racks were empty….plus the actual merchandise wasn’t much to write home about….Should have slept in!
today i went to the sale and everything was gone within 5 minute it was crazy but i waited for awhile my eyes glue to the racks waiting for somebody to put something back out. i end up getting a fleece for 25 bucks!
