Old Navy Spring 2009 Collection Preview

Even though it’s Spring now, it still doesn’t feel like it. The weather is still fluctuating between cold and warm weather, it seems confused. It was pretty cold yesterday, I still had to wear my big coat out. Although the weather hasn’t completely turned warm yet, fashion doesn’t wait. Old Navy welcomes spring with its April/May collection with bright colors and bold prints. Lots of sundresses, bathing suits, sandals and beach essentials for women, men and children.

The collection is so fun and summery! I definitely see pieces I need for my upcoming trip to Hawaii.

I’m so disappointed that Old Navy went back to the whimsical and bargain focus route again! The womenswear always looks good but the men’s is getting crappy again. :(

  • Samida says:

Loving those first pair of tie espadrilles! Cute and springy!

  • DM says:

THe mens at Old Navy and the Gap are definitely lacking when compared to the womens wear sections. CLear oversight, as if there are not fashionable bargain friendly men.

  • Paul says:

DM, also at the gap, ALMOST EVERYTHING they showed during fashion week presentation for womenswear are already in stores but 2% or none of the men’s pieces from the show made it to the stores. I heard Europe and Japan have better selections. So humiliating for the origin country of the Gap!

I don’t know what you guys are talking about, the men and women’s selections are equally crappy. But it’s Old Navy you guys. Seriously, what did you expect? Their market is middle America. This is what people wear there. I should know, I spent 18 years in MI. This is what sells, so this is what they will make. Pair it with a Coach/Dooney and Burke/ LV bag and you’re good to go. Why mess with something that isn’t broken? Especially in this economy.

the first pair of shoes are so cute. old navy is hit or miss, but the hits are usually good hits… they are my basics fallback..
