Our friends over at Racked tipped us off that the MUJI has launched a US online store, this is perfect for those that don’t have a MUJI in your neighborhood in America. You can shop accessories, stationary, household, travel, bath & body care, bags, electronics, interior decor and outdoor & tools. I’m still a bit sad that they still haven’t added snacks to the US market, whenever I visit Hong Kong I go crazy with the snacks they’re so good! Please bring them to NYC soon! I’ve heard that they were originally trying to bring over some snack items, but paying for FDA approval and taxes would raise the price to the point where a 400yen item would sell for over $10 US. I don’t think snacks aren’t gonna be viable until they’re able to localize production.
