Every time I shop in Soho I pass by Baked by Melissa and is always tempted to get some mini cupcakes until last weekend I decided to try it. As usual there’s a line in front of the pick-up window but it’s a quick wait, about 5 minutes you’re able to pick out which flavors you want. The mini cupcakes are not cheap, they’re about $1 each, the more you buy the cheaper it is. I went with a box of 12 for $10, tried all the flavors except the Tie-Dye. The cupcakes are bite sized and perfect for me since I won’t feel as guilty eating it. The cupcakes have a filling inside which makes it different from the other cupcakes around, my favorites are the Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies & Cream and S’mores! So yum, I’ll probably pick-up some for the fam this weekend again! More pics after the jump…

funny you posted about this little spot. my man and i passed it a few weeks ago… i wanted one so bad but the line was about 10 people deep… and i totally forgot the name of this little window store!! will be going past on saturday. thanks girl!!!!!
I agree, this girl IS making a killing off of cake that taste like box cake. However, I am just jealous I didn’t come up with the idea myself! I read when she first opened she sold 2,800 cupcakes in one day. This was before anyone even heard of her. That’s like $17,000 a week in damn cupcakes. So yea, I’m a little jealous!!!
I am serving in Afghanistan and would like to surprise my Son with 100 cupcakes for his birthday.
Do you ship to Tennessee? Also, would you ship to Afghanistan and do you think they will hold up getting here?
