H&M sure knows how to throw a party, despite being sick I made my way out to the Matthew Williamson for H&M Summer ‘09 Collection NYC Launch Party on Tuesday, April 28th (can’t ever miss H&M parties!). For my Twitter followers you guys already got a dose of the party as I was tweeting like a mad woman, the party took place on the Majesty, a 30,000 sq ft boat that was docked at the South Street Seaport and lit up in pink neon lights. The party was pretty amazing, as I got there I was saluted by gorgeous sailors and sailorettes all the way down to the boat it was crazy so I had to capture it on video (see below). Inside the triple-decker boat it was a a tropical and beachy atmosphere with hosts and hostesses dressed as sailors serving alcoholic hors d’oeuvres like bite size mojito sorbets and macaroons, piña coladas in pineapples and others I felt like I was on a cruise trip. Celebs that attended included Mary-Kate Olsen, Lucy Liu, Chanel Iman, Helena Christensen, Daria Werbowy and Lily Donaldson along with Margareta van den Bosch and Matthew Williamson. The legendary Grace Jones performed (video will be added soon) and blew the crowd away as the night was ending, it was a blast! im going to wear my navy MW for H&M belt with my one shouldered crystalized Kate moss for topshop dress (similar to what the olsen twin is wearing)
