Gap and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund has teamed up once again to create a limited edition collection, unlike the first two collection this time its a khaki collection which is another one of Gap’s classics. This collection will feature “three CFDA/Vogue finalists — winner Alexander Wang, Swanepoel, and jewellery designer Ven Cava are working with Gap on a campaign with accompanying visuals shot by renowned British photographer Craig McDean, that will see Swanepoel’s hats travel around the world.” Our friends over at Racked has the first look at the collection featuring a khaki motorcycle jacket, trench coat, dresses, shorts, pants and hats me of khaki. I like the Alexander Wang motorcylcle jacket and trench coat, I may need to pick those up! The collection is slated to release at Gap stores on June 16th, any of you guys planning to get anything? I’m like the biggest alexander wang fan , but the pieces he did aren’t too exciting, so I was quite disappointed when I saw them..However I am crazy about the Vena Cava dresses..the exposed zipper one is really really cute!

The second jacket reminds me of a BCBG sweater I have. I’m pleasantly surprised, most high-low collabs suck, but I like this. I’m gonna try to snag one of the jackets and the zip front dress. Those hats are a little over kill though… only 2 of them are remotely interesting. I wonder why they did so many, they’re all practically the same shape.
