Urban Outfitters is not stopping anytime soon with their designer collaborations, they’ve just announced that accessories designer Elizabeth Fortunato of Lizzie Fortunato Jewels will launch her new line exclusive to Urban Outfitters this July. Hope Marian by Lizzie Fortunato Jewels is an eight-piece collection of oversized statement necklaces and jewelry, which play on the explorer and artifact theme, incorporating brass bolts, metal chains, metallic bows, and circular charms.
New York-based designer Elizabeth Fortunato, along with her twin sister Kathryn launched Lizzie Fortunato Jewels in the spring of 2007. The duo who sell at Bergdorf Goodman will sell their new line, Hope Marian, exclusively at Urban Outfitters this summer. “I’ve wanted to bring our statement work to a larger audience for quite some time,” says Fortunato. “Urban Outfitters was the perfect arena in which to do that.”
Shapes identical to those found in the Lizzie Fortunato Jewels main line are incorporated into Hope Marion, crafted from new and found materials, selected specifically for Urban Outfitters. “My jewelry is consistently recognized as over-the-top, head-turning accessories and I didn’t want to lose that cache,” adds Fortunato. Statement pieces including the Hope Marion Collar Necklace, a signature LFJ shape, is updated with large brass studs, acid green bows, and colorful buttons.
