According to WWD, for this year’s CFDA Journal for the first time they are using the nominees to showcase their designs instead of using models. “Photographer Craig McDean and stylist Karl Templer helped to ensure none of the 21 subjects would wind up with a standard head-and-shoulders shot.” Marc Jacobs was shot in the infamous Louis Vuitton bunny ears he created, who is the International award winner for his work for Louis Vuitton. Jason Wu nominated for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear rocks his beautiful emerald green evening gown over a gray suit and Alexander Wang also nominated for the same category goes badass in black.
