According to WWD, Reese Witherspoon is launching her first perfume with Avon called In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon. The development process took nearly 2 years and was more complicated than she imagined, but finally the perfume is slated to release globally in November. No word on how the scent smells but I can imagine it will be very girlie like herself.
“It was a unique experience for me because I had no idea what goes into making perfumes,” said Witherspoon, “I thought you just pick a fragrance and it’s easy. But there were all these different levels of creating a scent that were new to me, but really fun and exciting.”
“Reese was the perfect partner on the fragrance – she was fully involved in the whole process from the development of the juice and packaging to the fragrance name. I logged many miles flying between NY and LA to work with her to make sure the end result was a true reflection of Reese’s style.” – Isabel Ryan, Director of Avon Creative Development

Uh… Reese looks so much better in that first picture… she looks old because shes startign to wrinkle and develop bags under her eyes in the other 2 pink ones. I hate to say it, but it shoulda been photoshopped.. the lighting is also not as professional as I would have thought.

I probably wouldn’t have released those photos if I worked for her PR agency either. Her facial expression looks so blank. As for her body, skin, hair etc. she is beautiful! Don’t hate on older women, we will be them someday.

I bought “In Bloom” and it smells heavenly.
I think too much emphasis is placed on your appearance in today’s society. Reese looks beautiful, so what if she has a little puffiness around her eyes … who cares … she’s still absolutely gorgeous. I hope the fragrance does well as it smells so great … love it … like a wisp of summer … how corny is that. Even my preteen daughter likes the fragrance. I have to remind her that its mine. Her motto is “what’s yours is mine, and what’s mine is mine” … hell no!
