H&M never fails to surprise me, news just released that they have tapped Jimmy Choo as the next designer guest collaboration to launch a collection of shoes, bags, accessories for both men and women, and a women’s clothing collection to complement the accessories. This marks the first time that H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand, super exciting! The limited edition collection will be available from November 14, 2009 in around 200 H&M stores across the world. Start saving up!

“We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M so far, and to be designing a collection appealing to fashion savvy, street smart women, and to be including some great pieces for men, too. Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!” Tamara Mellon, Founder and President, Jimmy Choo.

“We adore Jimmy Choo’s shoes and bags. They are glamorous and sexy, and they add instant style to the simplest of outfits. I like the way we have worked with clothes to accessorize the shoes and bags rather than the other way around. This collaboration is particularly exciting because it’s our first shoe designer collection. It’s a joy to be able to offer top end designer shoes and bags of excellent quality to our customers.” Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor, H&M.

OMG, yes you didn’t read wrong, they are really collaborating on a collection! I’m so excited, can’t wait to see the full collection! Are you excited about this collaboration?

I didn’t see this one coming and not really looking forward for this. :( I’m a guy and don’t really wear dress shoes. This brand is always way too opulent to me. Wow they just announced the collab today and the sample products are already done as well?! Can’t wait to see the men’s stuff. Maybe they will come up with men’s heels like Rick Owens did lol!

  • fashionista says:

To all the fashionistas out there just to let u guys know make sure the h&m in ur town is one of the 200 stores! If ur in ca or ny u probably will be lucky enough to get the stuff but if ur not in either place do research before u go to the h&m since not all h&m carry the fall collaboration. Just like the roberto cavalli.

  • Kourtney says:

I wonder what sizes they’ll carry, or if they’ll even have them in my area. H&M isn’t really known to carry larger sizes. :/

  • shoeloversimon says:

I’m a guy and I am extremely excited! I have a few pairs of Jimmy’s but they’re vintage…. what are we thinking the fellas will have? Has anyone in London though of queuing time yet?

  • Zad says:

do you know anything about the pricerange yet?

  • veronica says:

    wow:)

  • I nearly fell off my sun lounger when I heard this news!! I am so frickin excited and pretty dumb-struck still about this! The price range is supposed to be from £30-£130 British Pounds! Think the £130 is for boots! Dunno how that changes over to dollars! Chances off getting a pair though is pretty slight, a Saturday launch?? What were they thinking?? it is gonna be serious mayhem!! Who’s not going to want a pair of these??! Seriously!!

  • Natalie says:

    Omg how amazin is this!!

does anyone now what 200 hundred stores will be sellin them? or does anyone know when they will tell us what stores will be sellin i shall if i have 2 im not missin this chance!!

  • janis says:

I am not thrilled with this. As a major Choo collector I think it cheapens the line.

  • Noa says:

love the feature, check out my post on Jimmy Choo for H&M on my blog too!

Can’t wait for the 14th of November! Noa Xx

  • Anna-Maria says:

To me all the shoes I’ve seen so far look quite tacky (too much bling bling) and the heels just look so unwalkable. :( I really wish they had done the normal designer collaboration with someone like Marc Jacobs or Christopher Kane.

  • Sarah says:

You bunch of materialistic people. It’s only a store and you guys are posting comments months in advance… It’s not even the real thing. It’s scandulous if you ask me. A major designer making clothing a H&M, it cheapens the brand.
