News has been circulating the blogs about a collaboration between 17-year old Dallas-based fashion blogger Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes (which I like a lot) and Urban Outfitters, official press release hit my inbox just now with a sneak peek. For those that follow Sea of Shoes knows that Jane is on top of her shoe game, it’s no wonder Urban Outfitters tapped the young blogger to design a range of shoes. Launching next month (July), J. Aldridge by Sea of Shoes is a capsule collection of three styles, exclusive to Urban Outfitters. Expect dramatic knee-high brown leather peep-toe boots featuring top-stitched detailing and lacing at the front, black gladiator heels with studs and twin buckle straps (pictured), and lace-up pointy skimmers. “I’m really excited to bring my designs to Urban Outfitters,” says Aldridge. “The inspiration for this collection is a mish-mash of some of the elements of my favorite pairs—sort of Victoriana meets gladiator warrior.”
I can’t wait to see the rest of the collection, congrats Jane! Update: Just added the three styles, the lace-up peep toe boots is quite nice! One more pics after the jump…

talk about dream come true, Im really excited to see what the other shoes look like.
Awesome collab. she is just killing it at 17.
adore the boots…they’re so hot
from what i see it doesn’t seem so special. so many shoes look like those which she designed.
This is such cool news! I love Jane’s blog and shoe collection.
i love jane’s style, but my question is how can she afford all of those high end shoes? is her daddy an oil tycoon or something?
Woah this is a pretty big break for someone so young!! She’s a very lucky girl, I do love her blog but I have to admit I do find it odd to see a 17 year old blog about and own $700+ shoes!! There is not many 17 year olds or people older like that! She has great style though and is someone who will do really well in the fashion world!
I love those boots and I love Jane! I love how the flats are DEFINITELY inspired by Ann Demeulemeester cuz Jane’s always wearing those lace up booties on her blog. Can’t wait!
I like her blog, too…But, I’m wondering who is her daddy or mommy? Such a lucky girl…..sigh….Yeppp, I can see lots of Ann Demeulemeester inspired.
Huge talent, congrats to Jane! I live to shop for shoes, especially when I can find a great deal on them!
Talent? Are you serious? This girl can not be taken seriously as an artist or a designer, she merely knocked off designs from Ann Demeulemeester and Rick Owens.
She is lucky to have rich parents who buy her everything which i guess proves that in order to be considered “Stylish” you have to be able to afford the most expensive gear. This girl just seems pretentious. I don’t know why they hired her to do a shoe collection. She’s a collector not a designer. I just want to shake her and tell her to snap out of it!
They look so cheap and ugly. I don’t believe Jane would have bought them if she hadn’t been designing them herself.
