I’m sure by now you guys know that I’m not a huge makeup junkie, the few products that I use are lip glosses and mascara. Clinique releases some of the best lip glosses, my favorite is hands down the Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss. For fall, Clinique is releasing a Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Colour that provides a healthy dose of colour.

According to the press release, it’s inspired by antioxidant enriched smoothies, it’s bursting with a cocktail of antioxidants including Açai Berry, Pomegranate and a highly potent form of Vitamin C which help improve the condition of the lips while helping prevent premature aging. As for the formula, it’s a hybrid between a lipstick and a lip gloss. It has the texture of a gloss but the colour payoff similar to a lipstick in eight, well edited, diverse shades that are packed with a rich blend of butters to help provide moisture and soothing benefits to the lips. The collection consists of eight juicy shades ranging from opaque to shimmery: Fig-a-licious, Raisin the Bar, Mango-thon, Pink Me Up, Rhubarbie, Goodness Grapecious, Nude-tritious and Absolute Açaí. Even the names are yummy!

The new Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Colour will be available at Clinique counters nationwide and at www.Clinique.com in August 2009, and retail for $17.50.
