Finally the long anticipated Christian Siriano for Payless collection is now available online, currently there’s two styles: the Strut Pump and the Sandstrap Peep Toe in black and brown for $34.99 each. Thanks to reader lucy92 for the tip. To be honest I’m quite disappointed with this collection, I was super excited when I first saw the shoes on the runway but after Payless decided to make the shoes more mainstream I’ve lost interest already. Damn, I was looking forward to all the “fierce” shoes he debuted on the runway, what happened to the multi-chain and spikes! Ugh, disappointed!! Your thoughts? Are you going to buy? Ugh these are sooo not the shoes I was looking forward to from the runways!
ugh…disappointed is right! we all wanted those shoes BECAUSE of the spikes & chains. now they’re just any other boring shoe
SNORE. What have they done to my poor Christian?! These are not exciting.
Well, these are nice, versatile shoes for the masses. (I think a lot of women would be a little intimidated by the spikes & chains.) However, they’re nothing I don’t have in my closet already and not nearly as fierce as I hoped they would be… so I pass.
eh, i can’t decide if it’s worth it anymore. i think they look “nice” but i am not sure if i love them. might go see at lunch if they are in the stores in midtown to try on…
yeah, you all are right. i am going to hold off on these!
they have a buy one get one half off deal going on now until the first week in september. i might try them on.
This is actually a step-up for Payless. But I am dissapointed even though it seemed too good to be true. But anyway, from studying the pictures of the shoes he used in the runway, they seem very inspiring for DIY. It’s not hard to get your hands on spikes and chains. You can Fierce It Yourself!
Its a shame it wasn’t what we expected… but the heel shapes are still interesting though. I like the cuffs but then again I’m afraid of cutting off my legs at the ankle and looking stubby
Bleghhh, Siriano was one of my least favorite Project runway winners, I think he is given too much cred since his designs are not great, however I do have to give it up to payless for trying, the colors are safe and the designs are not interesting, def not spending my cash on these.
i was looking foward to the “feirce” shoes too. i agree that they are a step up for payless, but i’m still very dissapointed.
These are more like shoes that my Grandma needs on her night out, not the ones I’ll reach for on MY night out! EPIC FAIL PAYLESS!

I don’t think this is the complete collection because Siriano’s name is not even listed on Designer page. So I think I’ll wait until the complete collection is released.
I’d like to see some boots in the collection. I like the cone shaped heel, but the rest doesn’t excite me, as pumps like this slip off my feet too easily. In general, I think Payless has improved drastically in recent times.

The Slither boot is available now online as well. I’m just as disappointed with this collection as you are! Boring.
Disappointed? Yes. I loved the chains on heels and it is way toned down. I’m guessing that Payless figured only a select number of individuals would purchase those shoes (myself being one of those) so they made it more mainstream. However, I still like these shoes. They are definately not as exciting as the other teaser shoes, but I will most likely purchase the toned down strut as I still like it.

well girls i think your being a little bit spoilt, give the guy a chance just look at all the designer shoes could u really be comfortable party ing in those killer heels of the pathetic designers whom are running out of ideas. this guy is on trend for all year round the black ankle strap shoes are gorge and will never date and give me a shoe priced at this for the quality. come on get a grip these will be an asset in the future cause this guy is going megga far so leave him alone.
