I’ve been keeping an eye out for when Melody Ehsani’s Spring 2009 collection releases and finally the hot pink gold metal chain Asjai Heel hits Karmaloop.com. I was excited to receive these from Karmaloop last week, took them out for a walk this weekend and they looked so hot and fierce on the feet but not really practically for walking. I have no problem walking in 5″ heels plus it had a platform for support. But the problem is the gold metal chains that go around the toes, there’s no leather piece under it so after awhile of walking it will start to dig into your skin and make it unbearable to walk in. These are perfect shoes for photo shoots or for events where you wouldn’t need to walk much in because these are simply stunning. Aren’t they so hot on? They are hot. Been eyeing them for awhile too. I think I am going to opt out for the grey ones that are high above the ankle on her website. You look real slender.

love those among other shoes in her collection. As soon as i saw those, i figured the chains wouldnt be comfortable to walk in.

I am really short so I am loving this high heel craze (so many styles above 4 inches!). I think they are not so bad to walk in so long as there are platforms, but in smaller sizes like ours (5.5-6) the heel is so high in proportion to the total mass of the shoe that I do have to be careful not to topple over, esp in my JC Photos and the Alice + Olivia (for payless that looks great, by the way!)
