i got the adorable blue dress, the patterned mini-skirt, and the leggings…i hope everything fits cause i ordered it online!

  • P says:

I bought those two dresses above, the blue dress, nylon jacket, and leather jacket. Tried on the black lace dress at the store and ordered it, but may not keep that one.

This collection is so cute! Most items are already sold out online–the fastest of any Target collection. I copped out the Blair lace dress with the adorable blue bow and the black jacket! Those were my favorites from this collection!

I bought almost every dress and the nylon jacket to wear over them when the weather is bad.

A piece that suprised me is the grey and creme mohair sweater. Love it.

I was surprised that the striped sweaters (which were not previewed) were the first thing to sell out at Target on line besides the tablecloth lace dress. I thought that the dresses would sell out on line much faster than they did. Bigger surprise: the orange and brown stuff sold out really fast! The big non-suprise was how fast the cream lace dress sold out.

As I predicted, hoarders bought what we did not buy and are now selling on ebay at a premium.

Perhaps there was more stock for Anna Sui than Tracy Feith as the TF dresses were sold out in a matter of hours, wheras it took a day and a half (from the middle of the night online release) for most of the Sui dresses to sell out.

Anyone else besides me stay up late on Sat night into Sunday a.m. constantly refreshing the browser to cop the first offerings from Target online?

I really love the dresses. Great style for the price. Sure, I would love it if they were all silk, etc, but then they would cost >300 each instead of being >100 so I am not complaining.

p.s. Please let us know which looks you bought!

Sigh, I was so stoaked for the herringbone dress but was dissappointed when i saw it in person. The dress is too stiff for my taste. I bought the silk jumper and mesh top.

the lace dress is just AWFUL in person, i was so bummed!!
ended up getting the lace halter dress, houndstooth jacquard dress (imo the BEST item they had), leather jacket, and the grey shirt with lace and fringe on it

    now to wait for Rodarte!!

    Hi,
I am selling the Table Cloth dress in a size XS on Ebay. I bought this w/o trying it on and sadly it doesnt fit :( Hopefully someone else can enjoy this cute dress!

    the item number is 230377906505

i bought the houndstooth jacquard dress too! LOVE IT.

tried on the wooly gray dress with the spikes- woulda been cuter if i weren’t so busty :) .. so members of the IBTC, GET THAT DRESS!

tried on the polka dotted dress.. i thought the material was kinda cheap.. i got itchy. but the fit was okay. very roomy.

aaand i wanted the red stripy dress so badly, but when i tried it, it was not that cute on (me). the material is a little see-through, and even though it looks red in the lookbook, it’s more of an orangey-red.

i liked the mcqueen collection a lot better in terms of quality. but i love my dress :) :):)

I got what I wanted except for the striped sweater in black and white. I didn’t know that they had the cardigans and they sold out online. I went to two stores and they didn’t have it. Does anyone if they were sold only online?

I totally stayed up on Saturday to place my order! I used to do that all the time and eventually stopped since nothing ever seem to sell out that quickly and the last few collections haven’t really interested me. I figure this line would go fast so I stayed up and ordered a lot of stuff, figuring better to be safe than sorry! While I was adding stuff to me cart, I couldn’t believe that there was only XS left in the Orange/Cream/Brown track jacket! That surprised me, its a cute jacket but you could probably find something similar. I did order it though, I figured since there was only one size left, I figured what the hell. I was also surprised at the higher price points, I hope the quality is there.

So, I ordered the track jacket, the 2 dresses shown above, the gray tee with fringe, the sleeveless Metallic Jacquard Tee Shirt, the reddish/orange and black off the shoulder dress (not sure how that is going to work out for me!) Sheer Dot Jacquard Dress, the blue Floral Metallic Jacquard Dress, the gray Serena dress with the silver “feather like” sequins at the chest/neck line, the navy/black Houndstooth Jacquard Dress, the all over blue Jacquard Dress with the wide black belt, the red blouse, the black and cream print blouse with the bow and finally the Metallic Jacquard brown top with the orange print. Total was about $820!!! It was originally like $1400, I had to pare down! On a final note I was very surprised that the brown skirt sold out, I thought I would be able to order that at a later date.

I bought: the seersucker dress, the blue dress, the herringbone dress, and the silk pattern dress. I nearly bought the houndstooth jacquard but found it just a wee bit snug at the bustline (recommended for anyone 37″ chest or smaller).

I was really impressed with the quality of some–particularly the seersucker dress and the herringbone one.

Sadly, I did not like the tablecloth-bread dough dress on me. (It made me look fat and short!) I also thought the color for this dress and the polyester ruffle top were way compared to what I see in the stock photos. I thought it would be a white or an off white. The dress made me think of a beige-swiss coffee and the blouse had a yellowish-peach color to it.

I am loving the Anna Sui for Target line. I went to my local Target today and saw the clothes. They are adorable. I was skeptical because the Go collections have been junior sized in the past. I’m a larger girl, and I fit into everything they had in my size. I was really impressed with the beautiful designs. The black satin Serena dress is probably the best piece in the whole collection, and it is gorgeous in person. I almost cried when I couldn’t find my size. I almost bought the Jenny tunic and the Serena polka dot dress, but I couldn’t figure out what to put under something so sheer.

I bought the metallic Blair dress, again adorable and very flattering. I almost bought the Vanessa dresses, but I’m not an orange gal. I bought the silk wrap dress in black and a couple of the black and cream silk tops. Overall I was very impressed. Target definitely got it right. I’m just lucky I live close to a Target that had the clothes in stock.

I am really late on this, but can anyone tell me if the leather jacket fits true to size? I am usually a small everywhere that I shop and have never bought anything from target before (I live in Canada!), but I love the look of the leather jacket and would love to order one online! I read some places that these clothes may run a bit small, so I want to be sure before ordering! Thanks to anyone who can help me!
