Here’s a recap for the 3rd day (9/12) of New York Fashion Week, it was crazy. Woke up bright and early for the Lacoste show (see finale video here), saw Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen (hotttttt!) sitting front row and I got a picture with one of my faves, Chanel Iman backstage again. Stayed at the Tents for the Edition show, walked out and saw the YSL Manifesto girls but all the totes were gone already (did any of you guys get one?). Then at 3pm headed to check out the Richard Chai LOVE women’s collection (check the preview here), rested a bit then back to the Tents at 8pm for the Vivienne Tam show (check out the new Vivienne Tam x HP Mini here) afterward stayed at the Tents for the Rachel Zoe for QVC launch event, it was a star studded event (check out the collection here). And last but not least the best party of fashion week was Alexander Wang’s after party at a Mobil gas station next to Milk Studios! Fun times! Stay tuned for all fashion shows and events recaps! No disrespect Wendy, but this is a fashion blog so you seriously need to step your fashion game up (if you’re going to showcase your outfits). These get ups are good for parlaying in Union Square but not for Fashion Week or star studded after parties
Your periodic ensembles never seem to wow me. You always wear black as if you’re in mourning – add a little color or something….. and this is in no disrespect to you.

Love Chanel Iman!!! How tall is she? It seems like U kinda follow Rumi shoes cult as well…No offense, and yeah blogger copy each others, but I noticed U always get the same shoes as Rumi did. Fashion toast is always the first trend setter and many copy caters.
@trixi: i don’t know how tall is chanel iman and rumi has great style but I do not need to copy rumi’s shoes. I get all the Aldo shoes i wear for free, plus many other brands. if you haven’t noticed, i wear my shoes only a few times unless they’re one of my favorites. seems like you’re a bit obsessed with Rumi, no offense. we have two totally different styles and if i wanted to copy a blogger’s style/shoe game, it would definitely be Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes.
@trixi – stop obsessing over rumi. you should know that miz wendy gets sent a bunch of free stuff to wear during fashion week. how’s that copying.

First of all, when someone does outfit posts for their personal blog it does not mean they need to be showcasing strictly designer brands. It’s all about taking what you can afford and working with it. Nobody should be telling anyone to “step up their outfit game” regardless of what type of events they’re attending. Perhaps you should check out some of the other street style photos during NYFW…you may not have noticed but Kate Lanphear was attending runway shows while sitting front row in a crew neck sweatshirt. Having personal style and staying true to it is about wearing what you like and not because you feel like you need to put on a show for your readers. This is a person’s blog that shows real life daily outfits, not some factious ensemble put on for Lookbook.
The fact you have decided to tell Wendy that she seems to be copying Rumi’s shoe style is by far the most ridiculous accusation I’ve ever heard. The fact that ANYONE could be accused of copying another person’s shoe/clothing style is outrageous. I wasn’t aware that certain shoes are only exclusive to one blogger’s style.
It’s quite apparent a few of you have way too much time on their hands and are filled with a lot of negative energy, perhaps you should pick up a hobby.
If you find yourself not being “wowed” by a blogger’s style picks then go find another blog to visit instead of leaving nasty feedback.
This isn’t just another BS blog using generic templates on blogger, this is her career. You should be so lucky to have even 10% of the opportunities and experiences that Wendy has had.
Grace, if you don’t have anything nice to say than don’t say anything at all. I don’t see you putting yourself out there and snapping pictures of yourself especially at something has prominent as NY Fashion week. The funniest thing is you say “no disrespect.” Please, it’s obvious you’re jealous.

I managed to get a YSL tote after waiting in Bryant Park all morning. My friend spotted a lady entering the park with one and we ran to find YSL girls. While waiting I saw you come out the tent Wendy. You walk really fast. LoL. But yeah i was very happy to get my first YSL tote, especially after missing the ones on V-Day.
