I’m sure by now most of you already know that Estee Lauder will shutter the retail distribution of its 30-year-old Prescriptives brand by January 31, 2010. According to WWD, Prescriptives products will continue to be sold on the brand’s website to U.S. consumers only, while inventory lasts. But at least one product is safe, the Prescriptives fragrance Calyx, which is a favorite among consumers, will continue to be distributed through Aramis and Designer Fragrances and sold at the fragrance bar in select fine department stores and online beginning February 1, 2010. Time to stock up before it’s gone forever…
