As November approaches, more images of the Jimmy Choo for H&M ad campaign releases. Last week we posted a teaser of the commercial and campaign images, today WWD has more images of the campaign and one of which features Tamara Mellon, Founder and President of Jimmy Choo. All made of leather and many pieces are inspired by styles that have been in the Jimmy Choo collection, such as an oversize leather clutch with gold hardware, an embellished zebra-striped pochette for evening and platform sandals. Start saving, the limited edition collection will be available from November 14, 2009 in around 200 H&M stores across the world. For those that plan on waiting in line the day of the release, be sure to read up on the “How To Shop” guide. Check out the full preview of the women’s collection here and the men’s collection here.

“It was H&M’s idea to [do clothes], and as soon as they said it, I really wanted to do it,” said Mellon, who said she has no imminent plans to launch ready-to-wear under the Jimmy Choo umbrella, but added: “Never say never.”

Why is it everywhere that she is the founder of Jimmy Choo? Wasn’t Jimmy Choo the founder of Jimmy Choo and she just bought him out or whatever it is she and her money did???

  6. Grey says:

Well Jimmy Choo is the designer but to be a business you would need a corporate legal identity which she established, invested in and helped it grow to be what it is right now.Without her there will be less great shoes in this world
