It’s a given fact that women everywhere are taking style inspiration from Rihanna and Lady Gaga, according to WWD British women are raiding intimates departments for intricate corsets to wear to the disco. Sales of luxury fashion corsets were up 70 percent this November from last year at Selfridges’ Oxford Street.

“The trend of underwear worn as outerwear is more popular than ever with customers investing more in fashion that adds a touch of spice to everyday life,” said Helen Attwood, head buyer for lingerie at Selfridges.

Above is a Angela Cage bandage slip (about US$596) which is similar to the white bandage outfit that Rihanna wore at the American Music Awards, sales increased 90 percent after she wore it on November 22nd.
