Yours Truly just dropped their latest holiday 2009 “F*ck the Economy” collection which is a “crooked and controversial approach in retaliation to the economic crisis that we are living through. The checkered craigslist pattern was created using real New York City craigslist ads.” This line marks Yours Truly’s 2nd year anniversary and 6th collection to date, the collection will be available on the Yours Truly e-shop and select retailers worldwide within the next week.

These comical yet scandalous craigslist listings are seen throughout the collection, which includes a reversible funnel neck, reversible zippered mini, leggings with ankle zippers, long sleeve raglan with striped pattern accent, and a dress with asymmetrical shoulders and adjustable length side drawstrings. The graphic and photo tees are also inspired by the depressed economy and include statements like “Ain’t nothing going on but the rent,” “Fucking Economy,” and “New York City – Where else could I get away with this shit.” The lookbook takes you inside the life of a modern day New York fashionista, who with no food or money to pay the rent, still manages to look fierce and live a fabulous life.
