For those that follow my Twitter, you already know that I went by to the Target at Queens Place last night after visiting my girl in Elmhurst. I hardly ever go in there unless I pass by and need to, its always packed and yesterday was no exception. Checked out the Rodarte section and it was looking fully stocked with racks and racks of nude dresses, black halter lace dresses and ribcage sequin dresses. If you’re looking for those particular pieces, def go there! Funny because all those dresses were sold out online already. No one was checking out the section except for me, I asked the sales associate if she saw the faux fur leopard jacket but she said she didn’t. She even asked me if the designer was popular because she had no clue who they were. There was only one size medium of the leopard dress left, one size medium of the shaggy cropped cardigan, a couple of the black/white leopard bowtie belts, and random pieces here and there. Check out the store if you want anything you see in these pics, you might have better luck than waiting for target.com to restock or returns. Also, check out my previous post here for tips on which store has what. Thanks to all the lovely readers that left a comment! Target @ Queens Place More pics after the jump…

my god, it looks even worse in person
wow, i don’t feel like i’m missing out after seeing real life photos…
wow, thats an insane amount of champagne colored dresses on the racks.
i think my target had only one of each size.
Wow, that store has a ridiculous amount of dresses. Thanks for the update! My Target in southern California usually has one of each size. Quite surprised the belts were still there. I bought the gray leopard belt, and I’m kicking myself for not buying the black one. I also lucked out on the tights online, and they were just shipped, so I’ll probably get them by this weekend. So excited to see the tights in person, can’t wait
I’m in MA and the 2 stores I checked were pretty bare =/
Good thing I got it online!
I am so shocked this sold out as quickly as it did. It’s cute even in person, but many of the dresses were just not flattering on me, even though usually the Go International stuff is. I am almost certainly keeping the black lace sweater, floral t-shirt, tights, and probably the gray sweater with the scarf. I’m trying to be practical, so I’m on the fence about the lace leopard dress, yellow lace skirt, and nude slip dress. I’m somewhat relieved that a lot of the stuff was not flattering (the black halter dress, the blue one, and the sequined leopard dress) since that was good for my budget.
WHOA that is bananas the amount of merchandise they have out. I keep looking around for the belts but have yet to come across any. Sad times.
They dont have the jean jacket and skeleton dress in my target..they just put it out this morning lucky before work i when there..and then i when back again theres nothing left just piecy..
I was just there and the leopard dress was gone!=/ The dresses are not flattering at all.huge dissapointment. The only item that tickled my fancy was the long sleeve polka dot see thru blouse. But I got it in a size small fits me kind of tight since I have huge boobs so if anyone that has a bigger sz and is willing to trade let me know =)
Rarely anyone who shops at Queens Palace (Or in that area of Queens in general. Don’t get offended, I’m from around there ;x) is into fashion so half the people that went to Target probably didn’t know what ‘Rodarte x Target’ was… *shrug. Seriously, if you walk around that neighborhood, everyone looks the same: teeny boppers that all look the same, because they have no unique style.
My online order hasn’t shipped yet and I hope it doesn’t get cancelled! I ordered right after it was posted on the site!
WOW, there are so many rib cage dresses! I went to 3 Targets in So Cal, and there was barely anything left on the racks. I didn’t get a chance to see the rib cage dress, the lace cardigans, or the nude lace dress. I purchased the black lace dress and the leopard print dress. Still deciding if I want to keep the leopard one. The material is a bit stiff, but the 3 bows on the back are super cute!
i was going to order online but since i live in semi-middle-of-nowhere central pennsylvania i figured i’d go see if they had it in person…good thing i did, most of the pieces were really disappointing. we didn’t get many things though, including my favorite–the denim shorts! but what we did get seemed to have a full size run. i’d totally go ebay it but i would feel too bad about it haha.
if you’re out looking for the tights, socks, etc. my local target actually had them separate from the collection and in the hosiery dept.
