Spanish retailer Mango has tapped New York-based designer Moises de la Renta, son of the legendary Oscar de la Renta, to design a limited edition collection of t-shirts and tanks featuring embellished jewels, precious stones and tulle, as well as graphic illusions with transparencies and patchwork effects. According to Mango, Moises says he is delighted to present some intricate, timeless and affordable designs. His inspiration were the traditional romantic themes: from pretty patchworks with summer flowers in sombre colours, such as rose, violet, grey and black, to graphic illusions which combine transparent effects, with shiny gems and adornments in between. The Moises de la Renta collection for Mango hits stores in March 1, 2010 April 2010 with prices ranging from €25 to €35 (USD$36 – $50).
