How Much Does Celebrities Get Paid to Sit Front Row @ Fashion Week

I’ve always wondered if celebrities got paid for showing up at a particular designer’s fashion show (or got free clothes), sitting front row may be status but I’m sure with their busy schedules they’ll need to be compensated somehow. Fashionista had an interesting story about how much fashion brands pay celebrities to sit front row at their shows, looks like Rihanna hits the top of the list at $100,000 or more. I didn’t see Lady Gaga on the list, I seriously wonder how much she would get. I’m not sure how accurate this breakdown is but it’s fun to get an idea of how much they’re rack in, they’re seriously living the life. From A-list to C-list, check out the breakdown after the jump…

interesting….i guess my gut reaction is that of annoyance. as someone who will never get a chance to sit at one of these fashion shows, i would much rather see fashion journalists/bloggers/stylists in the front row. these are people who know fashion, love it and will talk about it with the “little man” like me. in fact, i would MUCH rather see bloggers, who give up to the minute summaries of the shows.

    just my 2 cents….

I love how Colin Firth’s fashion worth has been determined by Tom Ford’s role in his life.

@Pemora I luv that statement and bloggers are taking over the front rows slowly but surely. They help to drive brand recognition and make fashion real! I love bloggers.

That’s sad. Another reason, why I hate celebrity fashion. They ruin it. People who loved fashion before “every celebrity loved fashion and wants to design their own line” are bored with them. I hate seeing certain celebrities who don’t deserve to be front row. Kim K? All she wears is tight clothes. That isn’t fashion. Sad to see the designers having to pay people who probably don’t even care about the art.

This is interesting. But some of these people are even style icons so I’m wondering why brands would pay that much just for these celebrities to be seen at their show. Also, I’m surprised Rihanna’s at the top… I expected the Olsen twins to be paid the most.

I also wonder about Kanye and his beard.

rihanna is overrated. her entire look is calculated by someone else.
