Christian Siriano unveiled his Fall 2010 collection along with his Payless collection on the runway this past Friday. Celebs sitting front row included Amber Rose wearing his Spring 2010 collection and Mena Suvari. Known for his unique and edgy designs, Christian Siriano’s Fall 2010 collection for Payless is no different. His modernized take on 1960s European women – Parisian in particular, and 18th and 19th century antique furniture, is sure to make heads turn. The shoes are designed to complement his RTW and overall the collection is inspired by 1960s Parisian women and their daily practice of getting dressed. His shoes pull strong inspirations from antique furniture from the 18th and 19th century with its filigree and clawfoot detailing. A focal design from the runway collection is the Rocaille style — a platform pump featuring a signature artisan heel reminiscent of a clawfoot. The collection is expected in Payless stores in September 2010. Amazing, cross fingers that Payless doesn’t “tone down” the shoes- I like them the way they are now! Christian Siriano Fall 2010

Payless? why payless, kmart or target at least but not payless, ppl dont really shop there, the stuff is cute but its also cheap. Their heels break easily, and their flats tear easily. etc. Im poor and i dont even shop at payless. that store is known for selling shoes made with bad material. Im sure his quality is good, i just think he should sell them at macy’s target..etc
^The designer collaborations for payless seem to be made of good materials. They are just less expensive than an actual designer shoe. I bought Alice + Olivia wedges that were 50 dollars, a bit expensive for payless, and I’ve worn them a lot over the fall and they arent falling apart at all.
I used to also look down on payless, but I think in recent years they have stepped up the quality of their shoes.
Gorgeous heels- can’t wait till the fall! In the meantime, I saw some new Spring shoes for his Payless line- cute!
Personally, I think this is a step up from his last collection he did – I love the collaboration of femininity and edginess – and that ruffle shoe is just darling -I would have to see them in person to discuss the quality of the shoes – I used to buy shoes at Payless when I was 13? I couldnt afford to pay for expensive shoes – But I have a feeling people will still buy these because they make a statement, are fashionable, and your pocket doesnt hurt from it. I work for a shoe company – and customers complain how expensive my shoes go for – usually 79.95 to 229.95 – and thats a fraction of the price of blahniks, mcqueen, etc. During these economic times – consumers want to save money and still want to look and feel great.
MUST. GET. SHOES.
no one think they’re a copy of miu miu shoes?
I love the wedges!!!
these models all look a bit…funny!
If this collection is anything like his previous ones for Payless, the shoes will be totally “toned down” to the point where they barely have anything in common with the runway models. The first 2 collections were a disappointment because of that, and I don’t expect this one to be any different, sad to say, as I’d love to see those zip-front boots get produced…
Please do’t change a thing!!!! the shoes are wonderful!!! the stlyes are wonderful, you know the peopoe who complain about the shooes, you know you can g some where eles and by your shoes are wven you ndon’t have to but this stlye of shoe. “VARITY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE”. These shoe are a work of art, they are diffrent and they are beautiful. Yes everyone is entitle to their on opinoin. but be nice. the shoe are nice and if you don’t like them don’t buy them, but keep yoiu nasty comments to yourself. what if this was your design?? then what??? How would you feel??? I think the shoes are BOSS. GREAT WORK CHRISTIAN KEEP IT UP!!!!
I do not appreciate the Alexander McQueen knock-offs, and anybody REALLY in the fashion industry would vouche for this statement. I love Christian Siriano, but the shoes turned me off to the entire collection.
I love these. Besides the one thats a heel but doesnt have a heel and is supported by the metal stuff at the toe (the last one) that one's just a bit weird for me. And looks a bit like horse hooves. But other than that I love them! The first one's my favorite.
I fancy how CS has gone far from his talent. He is indeed skilled to be in the Fashion Industry. Keep up the good work! =)
