Back in January, I first reported that Madewell tapped Alexa Chung to create a fall collection, in the brand’s first celebrity collaboration. On Monday night, Alexa invited her friends and press to the Bowery Hotel to preview her fall collection. The collection consists of about 20 styles and is slated to launch in Madewell stores and online at madewell.com in late August. Loving the collection, so casual, young and best of all affordable- will def pick up a few of my first Madewell pieces when it releases. Sponsored by T-Mobile webConnect™ USB Laptop Stick

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Oh, Alexa. Having stylists and pre-selected wardrobes has done nothing for your personal taste.
really OT but have you been to H&M lately, they had these really cute leather shorts (trend) I think the color was light greyish (not sure tho I was in a rush), high waisted, really really cute! just wanted to let u know if you still haven’t found those zara ones
I was excited about this collaboration cause I love madewell and I think Alexa Chung has effortless style. There are a couple cute pieces like the stitched hi-waisted skinnies and the red blouse. But overall this collection leaves me cold. I was expecting a really fun and girly take on classic pieces. Instead the pieces are completely uninspired. (Not to mention that the overalls are terrible and velvet just looks awful. Iit doesn’t help any that the dress is absolutely shapeless. What a waste of effort.
SO cute!
These pics don’t do justice to the shoes!
