H&M launches its first ever range of skincare with certified organic ingredients. The skincare collection will be available in stores beginning of March, featuring everyday essentials including shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, hand cream and lip balm, all of which are based on natural and organic ingredients and are certified by Ecocert. Ecocert is Europe’s biggest certification body for organic and natural cosmetics. The products are available in the fragrance combinations of raspberry and melon or lavender and mint, and are accompanied by make-up and toilet bags made from organic cotton. PRICES: Shower Gel $4.95, Body Lotion $4.95, Body Scrub $4.95, Hand Cream $4.95, Lip Balm $4.95, Toiletry Bag $7.95 and Makeup Bag $4.95. Can’t wait to try it!

The H&M range looks great and it is all certified organic ! I wonder whether they will let other shops sell these products? I like the Made from Earth website because they list all their ingredients in plain English. On the box every ingredient has the standard latin based name and the English explanation of it. For example, “butyrospermum parkii butter – shea butter”. Very convenient. Cause latin and me never really got along too well…
