I was bummed I missed the Liberty of London for Target Experience & Shopping Event Launch for press yesterday morning, something came up so I wasn’t able to go. Naomi Watts hosted the launch wearing the Liberty of London for Target Boho Drop Waist Blouse in Peacock print. The temporary pop-up shop features a modern indoor garden where natural floral elements meet colorful digital projections in an overall thrilling stirring of the senses opened to the public to shop from March 10th to March 13th before the official launch on March 14th. Select items from the collection will be blown up to larger-than-life sizes to emulate the Tim Walker advertising campaign with digital projections casting the iconic prints from the collection across the items’ surfaces. Nearly the entire collection will be available for purchase including apparel and accessories, bedding, stationery, furniture, decorative storage and even the bike. I’ll definitely try to stop by before it closes this week, the shop looks so cute. I couldn’t resist, there’s a ton of pictures from the pop-up shop. Enjoy! When: The Liberty of London for Target Pop-Up will be open to the public March 10th to March 13th. Wednesday, March 10 from 11am to 8pm; Thursday, March 11 – Saturday, March 13 from 9am to 8pm daily. Where: 1095 Sixth Ave @ 42nd St (Next to Bryant Park) If you can’t make it to the pop-up shop, don’t worry the Liberty of London for Target collection will be available at Target stores and at Target.com beginning March 14, 2010. The assortment will vary by store. Liberty has also chosen its favorite pieces from the Target collection and will sell them in the London store starting April through December 2010. Check out the look books: apparel + accessories and home collection.

Cute collection
i am a big fan of naomi. thanks for the great pics!
When they do these pop-ups, the items always end up on ebay the same day. I wish they’d do them in other cities, such as L.A.
The collection is very cute, but you have to try it on before you buy it, cause i have some fitting problem.
looks veryy cute so far!
hows the fitting like!? i’m planning to buy from the online launch
I was there yesterday afternoon and I was disappointed and how poorly they were restocking shelves. ALL the menswear was gone as well as all the home stuff. It was pathetic.
If you are opening a pop-up store in NYC you’d better be ready to deal with it. Target was not.
Thanks for the pictures! @Volanges-thanks for the tip- I guess I won’t be going if I know there’s not much of the home stuff left.. I’ll wait until Sunday
Does anyone know what time the collection will be available online?
I got an email from Liberty today and it stated that some of the Liberty for Target collection will be available online (www.liberty.co.uk) this Friday (12th March 2010) and available in-store (Regent Street, London, UK) the 29th of March. The Good News: For on-line purchases liberty DO ship internationally
