Back in January some of you may have gotten the first look at the Zac Posen for Target lookbook but soon after it launched I was requested by Target to remove the images. Today reader lucy92 tipped me that Yahoo! has a sneak peek at some of the pieces. For the Target collection he revisited some of his own iconic pieces such as the trumpet dress he made for Naomi Campbell in 2001. “That was the dress that started my business,” he says. “It’s flirtatious and fun, but it has a punk, tough quality too.” Another blast from the past, his snap dress, allows the wearer to “self-drape and self-create.”
The Zac Posen for Target Go International collection will be available at Target stores and at Target.com from April 25 through May 30. Stay tuned for more info forthcoming…Are you excited? i really like the 2 last dresses!
i just worry that 80$ long gown is going to be too darn long on me. i’ll probably have to spend 25$ getting it altered!

After the disappointment that is JPG, I’m feeling wary (tho the images are certainly pretty).
This info is in April’s issue of Teen Vogue…Can’t wait. And although the JPG was super disappointing…I trust that Zac’s will be divine.
Is it just me or are those prints a little crazy?
The collection looks great. Wendy would you happen to know how the sizes are going to work out? True to size? Smaller or larger fit?
I just hate that I’ll probably end up ordering so many items online and then maybe have to order two different sizes.
@Jackie: I have no clue on sizing since I have trouble with Target’s sizing as well. Every collection seems to be different, best bet is to order 2 sizes and return what you don’t want.
target is so on point recently
didnt like the JPG collection but all these designers are totally worth lusting over
I’m counting down until April 25th, and hoping there won’t be any JPG-esque nylon dresses. I like the tuxedo look, the lipstick tank, and the polka dot dress from what I saw in the lookbook a while back. If it’s a GO International collection, it will probably run large, but if it’s a Designer Collaboration, it will probably be true to size, at least in my experience.
now this is a target collection i can stand behind!
