JOYCE Presents Rodarte x Maggie Cheung Collection

This is a time when I wish I was lived in Hong Kong, JOYCE (HK’s version of Barneys) teamed up with Rodarte, Maggie Cheung (famous HK actress) and SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS on an exclusive exhibition, silent auction, and private events from March 16-19. Rodarte created four one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by Maggie Cheung and references her films: In the Mood for Love, Hero, Clean, and Heroic Trio for this charitable initiative.

At the exclusive cocktail party, Legendary Shanghai singer Rebecca Pan launched the party and afterwards, guests previewed of a short film by Wing Shya with music by Peter Kam. For every click of the short film on YouTube (posted above) from now to March 31st, JOYCE will donate HK$1 to UNICEF. This was followed by a performance by American singer and musician, Jenny Lewis.

Guests that attended included: Maggie Cheung, Miriam Yeung, Pansy Ho, Anthony Wong Yiu-Ming, Hilary Tsui, Wyman Wong, Wing Shya, William So, and more. A total of over one-half million HK dollars was raised from this event and the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

I was super excited to the see the photos and video that JOYCE sent over last week, and it was too good to not share with you guys! Amazing isn’t it? I’m so glad they chose Maggie Cheung, she’s a true beauty and one of my faves! The collection by Rodarte is a work of art and the short film and stills by Wing Shya are so beautiful.
