Jil Sander Navy Spring 2011 Collection

Jil Sander Navy Spring 2011 Collection

Monday, May 24, 2010 by Wendy Lam

Last month the Jil Sander Group announced the launch of Jil Sander Navy, a casual lifestyle offering for women, here’s a preview of the Spring 2011 collection. According to WWD, Navy retails from $125 for a T-shirt to $1,000 for a dress or trenchcoat. The collection features colors and prints which is not typical of Jil Sander, colors include signature neutrals — khaki, black, white and navy, along with bold magenta, orange and kelly green, a few graphic stripes and a beachy print based on the work of 17th-century artist Abraham Mignon. As we can expect from Jil Sander, the collection is clean and features simple shapes and is structured, the color block pieces are currently my favorites. Do you like the collection?
